PQQC Consulting assists Government agencies and others through the provision of expert advice and assistance particularly in the review of legislation and legislative schemes.
PQQC Consulting can also provide Peter Quiggin KC for a variety of roles including government and private sector boards and audit and risk management committees.
Peter Quiggin KC brings unique experience having been agency head of the office that drafts Acts and Regulations for the Australian Government for 17 years. This gives him an incredible insight into the operations of Government and the structure and operation of legislation.
He has qualifications in Law, Accounting, Mathematics and Computer Science and was a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has been a King’s Counsel since 2020.
Peter has very strong analytical skills and is willing to challenge ideas. He is particularly good at calling out ideas which sound good when said quickly but that have fundamental flaws.
He is able to see the bigger picture but is also very strong on matters of detail.
Peter has been on a number of boards including the Board of Tax and not for profit boards. He has chaired and been a member of a number of Government inquiries and reviews.
